Bronze Medal Match

Kei Nishikori was defeated by Andy Murray with a 1-6, 4-6 will face Spain’s Rafael Nadal in Sunday’s bronze-medal match. Nishikori had only beaten Nadal once in seven previous encounters. If he win the next game, he will become the first Japanese man to win an Olympic tennis singles medal since the 1920 Antwerp Game.
