I've finished the second story of Natasha. The boy's father opened his massage shop, but he struggled to run his business. I should learn more unfamiliar words in the book, so that I can imagine clearly about the story. But even so, I could feel plaintiveness in the stories.

I've just read your blog entry. Although we don't use the word "plaintiveness" so often, I think it well captures the bleak. poignant situation the family finds themselves in. Thanks for the expression.
