I'm listening to an American history lecture with Audible app. The era was FDR and Great Depression. 

The US GDP dropped two thirds. F. D. Roosvelt became the president of the United States and he worked hard especially the first 100 days. 

The next topic was The Manhattan Project. Einstein's letter was the starter.
