Kiyohara and Drugs

A former top professional baseball star Kiyohara Kazuhiro has arrested for possessing illegal drugs at his apartment. The news was spread out late at night yesterday. I wasn't surprised at the news because there was a rumor that Kiyohara had been hospitalized due to drug use. A weekly magazine reported that several years ago. 

Even though he had had that suspicion of drug use since the magazine was published, many Japanese people might be shocked by the arrest. Kiyohara was definitely a baseball super star in Japan. He grabbed many Championship Flags of NPB, got some MVP titles and made hundreds of home runs. This was a real betrayal for baseball fans.

Violence in Mexico

On September 26, 43 students at local teachers college in Mexico went missing. The students were heading to Iguala to take part in a protest action. The police force there attached the buses they were on board and killed six stuents and kidnapped 43 students. After that the students disappeared.

Officials investigated the incident that the mayor of Iguala ordered the attack. The officials said that the police arrested the students hand over the young men to a crime syndicate in the end. The mayor, the police and the local gangsters are all in a group there. 

This kind of violence happen everywhere in Mexico. Governments, the police and crime groups including drug cartels are deeply tied for their profits. They can kill citizens and proper authorities so early for money. 

At a rate of 61 per 100,000 people have been killed each year by criminal violence in the country. It seems like actual hell on earth. You can't hang out without paying attention. 

The Mexican president and government are trying to eradicate violent crimes especially drug related ones, but it might need for a long time because these corrupt officials and police is helping crimes. To sweep out these rotten authorities might be the first thing what they have to do.

A famous Japanese singer has arrested due to illegally drag possession. He denied it, though. Many Japanese celebrities have arrested as the same reason. They said drugs made them more creativity and got rid of tiredness. But drugs destroy their humanity completely if they don't stop using drugs. I want him to tell the truth to the police and return to sing good songs as soon as possible.
