Person of the Year

TIME magazine has chosen the Ebola Figfters as 2014 Person of the Year. The fighters, doctors, nurses and others, mainly come from Doctors Without Borders/Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) and they are from all over the world.
Ebola is a fatal infection desease. Currently 6,346 people out of 17,834 cases have died in this epidemic. More than 99% of infections have originated in Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone and the virus traveled to many part of the world including Germany and the U.S.
Fighting Ebola seems a war. We have to thank the fighters. Without these brave people, Ebola would have killed more people all over the world.
"To not do that is kind of a shame", one of the doctors said.

Ebola Infection

The Ebola virus causes serious desease. Scientists first found the virus in 1976 in Sudan and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Although the virus has been recolonized for more than 35 years, no efficient vaccine or drugs were invented. That was because the desease has been occered in a limited area, so pharmaceutical companies though they could not get enough profits from the vaccine or drugs.
But now, the situation has been changed. The virus is traveling to many countries now. It's obvious the desease would be found in Japan sooner or later.
I believe scientists and pharmaceutical companies have the potential to invent anti virus production. They need to accelerate that development for helping people.

Ebola Pandemic

Ebola virus desease is spreading many places. According to the World Health Organization, the number of deaths from Ebola has hit over 4,500 now.
Political and religious conflicts are everywhere in the world but aside from that we have to cooperate with each other for solving this problem.
