Protect Your Account

My VISA account was hacked again. I found out it after checking the account on the web. This was the second time someone used my account illegally. This time, the amount of money was 108,000 yen. What happened to my VISA account?
The previous time my account was hacked, VISA company sensed that there was something wrong in my account and canceled the illegal purchase before I knew it. But they couldn't find out this time. I have to report this incident to the company tomorrow morning.
You have to be careful with your credit account. You can check it on the web. If you find something wrong with it, you have to report it to the company immediately.

Someone Hacks My Account

I had a phone call from VISA. They asked me if I bought something cost 80,000 yen. I answered I didn't. Someone might hacked many VISA accounts and asked for the same amount of payment.
The company said these hacked accounts including my account were protected immediately, but the accounts were still in danger. They said that I should change VISA account number as soon as possible.
Be careful everyone. You should monitor your credit account carefully.

I'm a Tax Payer

I submitted my tax form today. It was easier than I thought. I could calculate the amount of my tax on the net and print out the form after that.
The tax office is closed on Saturday and Sunday, but they opened a special tax office today. When I got there, the place was empty, but after I submitted the form, I found a lot of people lined up in front of the reception desk. I was lucky.

Bitcoin Trade Stopped

A Bitcoin trade company said that they have stopped their exchange work. Apperently, their system was hacked and the huge amount of Bitcoins were disappeared. No government involves the virtual currency so the value of Bitcoin is not protected officially.
I wonder if the system will collapse or regain credibility. We should watch it carefully.

Electronic Money in Sri Lanka

Buddhist temples in Sri Lanka will introduce electronic money system devices because lack of coins in the country, according to a radio news in this morning.
People in Sri Lanka keep lots of coins in every family for donate to temples for their worship. And if they can melt the coins, they get more money from the melted coins. So the government has to produce more coins but they don't have much budget for that. That's why the government ask to Buddhist temples to accept electric money such as debit cards for donation.
But I don't think Sri Lankan use such electronic cards in temples. They would keep their Buddhist tradition.

The New Year Tuna Auction

Today is the first day fish market auctions open all over Japan this year. Tsukuji market in Tokyo also held its first tuna auction today.
Last year, the highest price for a tuna was five hundred fifty million yen, 1億5千万円! But the bubble of the New Year's tuna collapsed dramatically this year. It cost about seven million yen, 700万円. Of course the price was much higher than usual. I think the fisherman who caught the tuna felt really disappointed.

Bitcoin

The other day, I listened to the radio and heard about Bitcoin. And sometimes I read some articles about Bitcoin. Bitcoin is a digital currency that is not involved with any governments. Some Japanese guy invented the currency system. They say like gold, the amount of Bitcoin is limited and that's why it worth as much as gold.
I can't understand well about Bitcoin because if I want to learn it I need high level math and computer knowledge. I wonder if I will use Bitcoin someday.
