Security in Rio

Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games will start soon, but there are lots of security problems there. Due to the worsening of economic conditions in Brazil, street crimes happen so frequently. And terrorist attacks are concernd, but Brazilian authorities are not familia with handling terrorist attacks.
Only I can do for Olympic athletes is play for them. I hope I can watch their performances in good conditions.

The UN Condemns North Korea

The all 15 UN Security Council members, including China, approved a resolution condemning North Korea's launch of a long-range rocket. Most members of the UN countries seem to want strong sanctions on North Korea, but China would not want that strong measures. They might be afraid of confusion in North Korea after that. That would be one of a Kim's plans, though.
Sooner or later, it will happen. The Kim monarchy will collapse someday. Chinese communist government is afraid of the influence, like Arab Springs.

Security Bills in Japan

The Japanese Lower House has passed some bills about security activities. These bills might be illegal to Japan's Constitution. Aside from that, I don't think Japanese people should die along with the constitution. Many people protested against the laws at many places. They say Abe wants to fight, but I don't think so. There's no reason to go into a war for politicians because it's obvious that a war weaken a whole country including politicians themselves.
The bills will strengthen Japan, U.S. and other friendly countries alliance. And that will prevent huge conflicts because no one wants to fight. Moreover, the bills limit Japan's activities.
An evil country just want to force other countries to obey their rules. They think only military power can do that and that's the reality in the world. They don't need fight against others. Only they should do is to show their power to others. But they will be careful when other countries also have a strong power because the evil countries don't want a war to break out, but only small conflicts. They definitely afraid of real war. These security laws can control their desire to expand their territory.
To have power doesn't mean goes into a war. If a nation alone has enough power to protect itself from evils, there wouldn't need military alliance. No need to rescue others instead of to be protected by other nations. But the reality doesn't let us so.
Looking around Japan, evil totalitarian countries have a long history of cruel behavior. They can't stop doing so unless the governments have replaced democratic one.

China Makes New Land in South China Sea

China has been creating land on reefs in South China Sea. They are pumping sand on coral reefs and adding concrete. They seems to create new artificial islands ,and later they might deploy militarily on the islands.
These areas created new land are in disputed sea among China, The Philippines, Vietnam and Taiwan. The tension over the territories would rise and Japanese government should not ignore the China's act.
China wants to seize Senkaku islands not only for natural resources but also for military purpose. Japanese goverment is facing hard time to deal with the issue, so Japanese people have to support their effort against China's behavior. We don't have time fighting over American military base issue in Okinawa.

Election in Japan

Japan's Prime Minister Sinzo Abe has dissolved the lower house and the election is held on December 14.
The primary issue of the election might be economics. Japan has been suffering sever depression for several decades. The hike of consumer tax has prevented economic recovery. To accelerate Japan's economic growth is a big challenge for politicians.
It's obvious that these candidates speak out economic issues for their campaign, but when the election is over, these representatives should consider Japan's national security first. Japan has been exposed to security risks. If Japan were invaded, no one could guarantee your life, family and property.
Be careful to watch candidates' policy of foreign affaires and national security. You shouldn't vote a candidate like Alien Yukio Hatoyama. Politicians can destroy a nation easily when they take a wrong policy.
