English Grammar Book

I began to read a grammar reference book. I'll learn a lot from the book. And I'm trying to read aloud example sentences in the grammar book.
I don't speak English much recently, so that will help me to speak English.

Distinguish the Working of Verbs

I'm not good at reading English. Vocabulary and grammar both are my problem. I wasn't serious about English grammar, but I shouldn't ignore the importance. I knew that. Actually.
I bought "Using Your Brain to Read English" by Yoshiri Minai. It describes how to define verbs. If you can distinguish the working of verbs in a sentence, you can understand it correctly and you can do it with using dictionary, the author said.

Practical English Usage

I bought an English reference book, Practical English Usage. Someone recommended the book on Twitter.
It arrived from Anazon today. I thought the book was a workbook like Gremmar in Use, but it was a reference book.
I glanced it and it was interesting for me. I could kill time with it. I'll put it in the living room and will read it often for fun.

Present and Past Sentences

I'm listening to a Murakami, "Hard-boiled Wonderland and the End of the World". I listened 6 hours and left 8 hours. There are two different storylines. The first one was narrated in preset sentences and the other was in past sentences.
Sometimes, I've found preset sentences in books and interviews. Some interviewee spoke in past sentences, but when his story went into his abduction experience, suddenly he spoke in present sentences. It was really interesting.

A Grammar Girl's Grammar Book

I bought a grammar reference book on kindle titled "Grammar Girl's Quick and Dirty Tips for Better Writing".
The author is famous for her podcast for English grammar tips. It has reached #1 at iTunes. And even she was invited to the Oprah Winfrey Show. On the show, she answered language questions they had received from listeners.
Anyway, the book shows simple rules for English written in plane English. It starts A and An. I enjoy reading the book.

A New Guide To English Grammar

I've got a thick English grammer book. The book is the third edition of A New Guide To English Grammar by Taiichiro Egawa. It was first published in 1953. Since then, many English learners in Japan have used the reference book for the sake of understanding English.
I didn't study English grammar seriously, so the book is completely stranger to me for now. There are lots of jargon in the book, but the explanations are really interesting to me.
The author recommend inanimate subject section to read first. He said if you read the part, you'll get interested in English grammar. I think that's true. Studying English grammar is more fun than I thought.

Grammar Reference Book

I've ordered an English grammar reference book. I have lack of grammatical knowledge, so it would be useful for me.
I used to hate studying English grammar seriously, but I've changed my mind recently. That is because I can't understand some sentences well when I read magazines or novels. I love reading!

Sentence Structure

I'm trying to analyse English sentence structure when I read English articles. I didn't do that before, but I'm doing it as much as I can recently. It helps my understanding of English.
