Kohei Uchimura won his second Olympic men’s gymnastics individual all-around title by only 0.099 points to Ukraine’s Oleg Verniaiev. He's never lost all-around at world championships and Olympics since 2009.
Uchimura looked very tired and damaged after finished the high bar. He is two times Olympic and six time world championships champion. That's amazing. He is the best gymnast for sure.
Japan men’s Olympic team won all-around gymnastic gold medal in Rio de Janeiro. I couldn't watch their performances on time, but I had the news on a tweet. Later, I watched Japan's performances on TV and they were perfect! I was really moved by these performances.
I think they were under a lot of pressure because they couldn't get gold medal both Beijing and London. The last was floor exercise. The first player was Kenzo Shirai, 19. He performed really well and the performance made Kato and Uchimura relaxed.
The world gymnastics championships have been held in the UK and Japan got the men's team title for the first time in 37 years. The Olympic all-around champion Uchimura really wanted to get the title. He fell off the horizontal bar, so he looked a little bit disappointed in his own performance.
Kihei Uchimura won The 2014 World Artistic Gymnastics men's individual-all-around six times in a row including the Olympics victory. He has not only astonishing gymnastic skills but also has strong mental power. Although he didn't satisfy himself, his performances today were so beautiful and steady. I think no one could surpass him before his retirement.
