Ski Tour Bus Crushes Again

A tour bus from Tokyo to Nagano crushed. Fourteen people were killed and others were injured in the accident. The bus should have taken highway, but they didn't take the correct route. 

The passengers were customers of ski trip heading to Kita Shiga ski area. The tour was very cheap price and popular for younger people. 

I think the drivers had to avoid highway because they had to save money. That's why they took dangerous mountain road and got a terrible accident.

SMAP

According to some news papers, Japanese popular pop group SAMP will likely break up near future. Many TV shows and websites have taken up the matter. That was still a rumor, but most of the Japanese people would be surprised at the news.  

I'm not a big fan of them, but if the rumor is true, I would feel sorry for their break up.

Asahi Admits Incorrect Reports

A Japanese news paper company Asahi Shinbun has admitted their wrong reports about so-called comfort women during the World War 2. 

The articles was based on interviews with Mr. Yoshida. He said, he was involved with comfort women activities and he had forced handreds of Korean women to work for Japanese soldiers as comfort women. But no one couldn't find any evidence for confort women. In addition, Mr. Yoshida confessed that he told wrong story about comfort women. 

I have no idea why they withdraw the articles 32 years later. Media have to admit and withdraw their false reports as soon as possible. 

Japanese Beethoven Admits His Flam

Mamoru Samuragochi, a Japanese deaf composer, has admitted that he didn't write his music and instead he hired a ghost composer for 18 years.
Many people including NHK and other media were not able to read his lying. His ghost writer said he even has hearing ability and cannot write music scores at all.
The big point of this issue is I think whether his works are good enough to play and listen to. I want to know how critcs who has approved his works before would make a comment about his pieces after reveal the fact.

Listening to the radio in English

I listen to English radio progrems every morning via TuneInRadio, usually BBC, NPR or VOA.
At first, I was not able to hear any of the words but I used to do that now. I enjoy some programs. My favorite program was the making of a nation by VOA. It was not only American history but olso democracy's history. I listened from the American Revolution to the Bush administration. It was so much fun and I learned a lot about the history of democracy. I used to look forward to listen to the program but it is over now.

The news thre is different from Japanese one. For example you can get lots of news about Middle East, Southern Asia, Europe and of course America. You can get what's going on all over the world.
