The Road to the World Cup

Japan lost the first match for 2018 Fifa World Cup Asia Qualifires against UAE. It was fatal result lost the first match of Qualifires. 

I watched the second harf of the match. The UAE's goal keeper performed really well in the game, but more than that, Japan couldn't play well. I was really disappointed 

I don't think Samurai Japan has enough ability to pass the qualifires this time.

Rugby World Cup

Japan's rugby team has lost its second game against Scotland with a 10-45 score. I watched only the first half and Japan looked a little bit tired. The game was the first game for Scotland. 

Next match would be tough, but Japan has enough time for preparing the third game against Samoa, so they will perform well in the game.

Japan Beat South Africa

Rugby World Cup has just started in England. Japan has made a historical victory over South Africa at the first game. The third ranked South Africa is two times champion of the World Cup and Japan is the 13th. Japan's victory was the first time in 24 years. 

Media reported the match with surprising. I listened to a BBC radio news this morning, they even reported the astonishing event two times in a 15 minute segment of the show and some media said that this was the biggest shock in rugby history. 

I'm not familiar with respect rugby, but rugby was very popular when I was young. That was partly because of a popular TV show, School Wars.

U.S. Gets the Cup

The United States won the World Cup title over Japan with a 5-2 in Vancouver. According to the news, the United States got four goals in the first 16 minutes. I didn't watch the game, so I don't know what happened in the early time of the game. Definitely, the Americans might play really well. 

Tomorrow is the first day to the next big event. New players would join Nadeshiko Japan and they would try to beat the Champion in the Olympic Games and the next World Cup.

Nadeshiko Goes to Final

Nadeshiko Japan has advanced to the FIFA Women's World Cup following a 2-1 win over England. They will play with the United States again. 

Japan won 2011 World Cup over the U.S, but at that time Japan's victory was on penalty kicks after 2-2 draw. I know America is very strong team. I believe Japan will perform well and grab the big title again. I'm looking forward to watching the final match.

Japan Goes into Semis

Japan's women soccer team Nadeshiko has advanced to the semifinals with a 1-0 over Australia at FIFA Women's World Cup in Canada. 

Nadeshiko will face against England at the next match. There are two wins left to the triumph again. Among other teams, the Germany is a  really good team. They already have got 20 goals. 

Nadeshiko Japan seems good condition in this tournament. Only they have to do is to get goals. I really looking forward to seeing their victory.

Nadeshiko Advances to Round 8

FIFA Women's World Cup title holder Nadeshiko Japan won over Netherlands. The next match is against Australia. 

Nadeshiko has a legend player Homare Sawa. This is her sixth World Cup. That is really awesome. This would be her last World Cup, so I really want her to get the second title.

Women's World Cup

FIFA Women's World Cup has been held in Canada. Defending champion Japan has advanced to the round of 16. The next match is against Netherlands on 23th June at 19:00 local time. 

The game would be tough, but I believe Japanese team would win the match.

Japan vs Singapore

I didn't watch a World Cup qualifying game Japan and Singapore. The game ended in a scoreless draw. According to a newspaper, Japan made many of big chances and failed all of them. Of course, Singapore performed really well. 

The road to the World Cup is not easy. I'm afraid that Japanese team could not advance to the World Cup this time.

World Cup 2022

According to some sources, FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar would likely to be held in winter. That is because Qatar is too hot to play soccer in summer. 

Everyone knows that Qatar is a hot country especially in summer. Why on earth are FIFA executive members talking this issue now? 

They should have discussed this condition problem when Qatar made the presentation for inviting the event. Didn't they believe they can hold the big soccer event in summer at first? If so these FIFA executive members never play soccer in the heart. Or they didn't know where Qatar is.

The 2014 World Cup was won by Germany. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to watch the lat 15 minute of the final on TV. But I was relieved that it didn't go to a penalty shoot out. Anyway congratulations, Germany!

Withdraw From Brazil

Japan's national soccer team lost a match against Colombia at FIFA World Cup in Brazil. As a result, Japan has to withdraw from 2014 World Cup. The players of Japan performed as much as they could, but other three teams were strong enough. That was the simple reason of this result.

Japan's Soccer Team

The Japanese football team hasn't won a game in FIFA World Cup so far. Of course, the next match would be a very important one. If they lost the match, they have to withdraw from this World Cup.

In my opinion, Japan's national team practiced too much before the first match. I watched the first game, and I felt they look very tired. I believe they lost the match because of their fatigue.

I hope they perform well in the next much and get a win for themselves and Japanese soccer fans.

Japan Lost the First Match

I watched FIFA World Cup in this morning. Japan faced Côte d'Ivoire and lost the game. 

Japanese player Honda scored first but 

Côte d'Ivoire got two goals in the second half. Japanese players looked tired, so they couldn't perform well. I think they need a good rest. Just relax and concentrate. Enjoy the game. They might practice too much recently.  

2018, 2022 FIFA World Cup

Every four years, soccer World Cup is held. Brazil is the host country in 2014. I didn't care much about the future World Cup but I just realized the 2018 event is held in Russia and 2022 is in Qatar.

Russia is facing a huge conflict between Ukraine and terrorists attacks are often occurred. Russia sent their troops to Crimea even though they were holding the winter Olympic Games. Can Russia hold the World Cup safely?

Qatar is one of the hottest place in the world. It will be 40 degrees Celsius in the World Cup season. Can players perform well in that harsh conditions? And they have many troubles in construction sites for the World Cup. Qatar has few population, so they have to relay on migrants to prepare for the big event. Many foreign workers were killed by poor working conditions. Can they held the event at the price of migrants life? In addition, there are rumors about corruptions for voting.

I'd like to watch the big event in safety and stable place. I think that's also good for players and audiences. FIFA should reconsider future World Cup.

FIFA World Cup Has Started

Brazil won 3-1 to Croatia at the opening match of the World Cup today. Japanese referees were doing well, even though there was a controversial penalty kick.

Soccer World Cup

FIFA World Cup will start in three days. I've heard that the construction sites in Brazil have delayed due to some reasons and protestants are everywhere in the nation. I hope the event will go well.

I think the Japanese team has prepared well this time. I don't think it's impossible to get top 8 at the World Cup.
