Before the meeting, even though Abe was a guest, he was standing and waiting for Xi in Beijing's Great Hall of the People. I watched the moment on a TV news show yesterday. I have to say Xi was too rude to greet a foreign government leader. As the whole world watching it, Xi showed the fact that he was an intolerant person. Xi even ignored Abe's greeting when they were shaking hands.
I understand a little about Xi's political situation for Chinese authorities and citizens, but at least he had to share a welcomed atomosphare with Abe. That's the right way for a nation's leader. Or if he was too nervous to talk to Japan's Prime Minister?
