1000th Post

My blog posts have reached 1,000 today. I began to post in 2008, but once I stopped posting. I restarted to post in November 2013 and since then I've been posting a blog every day. 

I'm not good at writing in English, so you can find lots of mistakes in my posts. Forgive me, this blog is only for my fun. I just enjoy writing something in English.

I wrote today's blog and was about uploaded it. But something happened. It vanished! I don't have any energy to reproduce the plog post, anyway.

This is my 868th blog posts in English. The number 868 has a kind of special meaning for some Japanese like me. The number means Sadaharu Oh's world record of baseball home runs. That doesn't relate to my tiny blog, though.

A Small Success

Two years ago yesterday, I posted this blog for the first time in five years at the time. Since then I have been writing this tiny blog everyday for two years. Sometimes, I could write only few sentences, but anyway, I could continue this blog. It's a small success for me.

600 Days Straight

I've been writing a short journal everyday for 600 days straight since November 2013. You probably think I'm getting good at writing, and I hope so too. But I'm still not very good. You can see the reality here. Grammatical errors and misspelling are everywhere in my blog. 

Despite my slow progress, writing in English is fun for me. I'm like a real writer while writing. I don't think I can write a blog everyday in Japanese. It feels like I'm exposing myself too much. Too embarrassing. 

I'm really excited when someone is interested in my blog and sends a message. It sometimes happens. That makes me motivated. 

Anyway, I'll enjoy writing for myself.

Eiken

This blog is the 400th post since 2008.

I've applied an English test, Eiken Pre-1st grade. This is the first Eiken for me.

In order to prepare for the test, I'm working on some Eiken workbooks now. The major problem of studying for Eiken is lack of my vocabulary. I could get only 10 to 13 point of the first 25 vocabulary questions. That's a huge disadvantage for me. I need to get at least 20 points for the section. And because of my poor vocabulary, I often misunderstood the meaning of problem articles. Words, words, words!

The test is held on January 25. Wish me luck.

One Year Anniversary

Today is one year anniversary of my blog post. I've been writing a blog everyday for exactly one year. I've been doing this for the sake of my English. I want to express my thoughts, feelings, ideas, opinions or whatever about myself and about the world. 

At first, it was difficult to write a blog everyday because I'm not used to writeing anything in English. I have relatively poor English skills, so I've borrowed some expression from articles and dictionaries. I believe it might work for improving my English skills. 

Finding topics was another problem for me. To pick a topic, I would read newspapers and search articles on the web. Sometimes I choose a topic by listening to radio programs.  But now, I really enjoy not only writing in English but also selecting topics. 

Anyway, writing blog in English is great fun for me. You should try it. You'll find it interesting.

300 Days Anniversary

I'm writing this blog everyday since last November. Today's blog is the 300th day in a row. 

I don't think my writing skill has been significantly improved. I should use more and more new expressions or new sentences I have learned. 

Now I'm used to write in English compare to before. That's a prize I've got from everyday writing. 

Blog

I've been posting a blog for 250 days straight. I'm writing my blog for improving my English skills. It would work for not only writing skill but also speaking skill. I've written 250 topics, so I could speak 250 topics. The reality is a little bit different, though. Anyway, I'll continue to write a blog as much as I can. 

Writing Helps Speaking

I've been writing an English blog everyday since last November. It would help me not only for writing skill but also speaking skill. I write about my thoughts or the world around myself so I hardly forget about the articles I wrote. There are MY stories not others'. That means I'm getting lots of topics I could talk in English every day. I don't write important things in my blog  but I believe at least it would help me to make small talk.

No topic

I decided to post my blog every day but sometimes, like today, I can't come up with an idea to write. Sorry. If I get a good topic I'll post a new one. Maybe, later tonight.

The first blog in five years

This is the first blog  post in five years. Since the last post, I didn't write anything in English but just read books in English. To be honest I simply lost interest in writing because no one read my blog at all. But from now on I'll keep writing for the sake of simply improving my English ability.
Since I did not study English grammar I had my blog corrected by online teachers at that time but I'll do it all by myself as much as I can. I'd really appreciate receiving corrections from anyone, though.
