US Destroyer Cruises Disputed Water

U.S. military sent a guided missile destroyer into disputed area, the South China Sea. This would be a President Obama's warning to China. Chinese government has been building military facilities on the landfill reefs where only China claims as their own territories.
The Obama's decision was too late to suppress Chinese desire for expanding their territories for the water. I can't understand his slow action for the controversial Chinese activities of the South China Sea. Vietnam and other nations were trying to prevent the China's behavior, but the president didn't do anything for it.
It's important to put pressure on China over territorial matters. Otherwise, they will continue to expand their territories by the power.

Russia Launches Cruise Missiles

Russia launched cruise missiles to Syria. The missiles were shot off from the Caspian Sea. That means the missiles flew over Iran and Iraq.
The United States claimed that some of the missiles crashed in Iran, but Russia and Iran denied it.
According to some articles, it is the first time Russia has used cruise missiles in combat. It seems that Russia wanted to show off their military equipments.

China's Power Balance

This week, TIME magazine issued Chinese Military Parade. In the picture of the article, President Xi looked unhappy for me. Only Russia's President Vladimir Putin attended the parade from the main World War 2 Allies and that made Xi depressed? Or he overwhelmed to control Chinese military power? I'm not sure.
A historian said in the article, if the Communist Party losses power, it will have lost power forever. Xi knows the fact, so he has to handle their military very carefully for survival. In my opinion, Xi stands on the dangerous balance between The Communist Party and the military. No one knows when it will collapse into chaos.

U.S. Decision on the First Atomic Bomb

A Japanese BBC reporter made a tweet about American nuclear bombing during World War 2. She said American government believed if the United States failed to attack Germany with an atomic bomb, German scientists would make the same weapon with studying the debris of the bomb, but Japanese specialists could not do that. She said that was the official reason for they made Japan the first target of the nuclear bomb. The reporter showed on Twitter the documents written the government's discussion above.
She tweeted her opinion that that was a skeptical reason for the attack and the real reason was hidden behind the remarks, but I strongly feel the remarks came from their racism. German people were intelligent and Japanese were not. Am I wrong?
In addition, they knew that Tokyo was about to surrender and did not have enough power to revenge on the bombing at that time.

Security Bills in Japan

The Japanese Lower House has passed some bills about security activities. These bills might be illegal to Japan's Constitution. Aside from that, I don't think Japanese people should die along with the constitution. Many people protested against the laws at many places. They say Abe wants to fight, but I don't think so. There's no reason to go into a war for politicians because it's obvious that a war weaken a whole country including politicians themselves.
The bills will strengthen Japan, U.S. and other friendly countries alliance. And that will prevent huge conflicts because no one wants to fight. Moreover, the bills limit Japan's activities.
An evil country just want to force other countries to obey their rules. They think only military power can do that and that's the reality in the world. They don't need fight against others. Only they should do is to show their power to others. But they will be careful when other countries also have a strong power because the evil countries don't want a war to break out, but only small conflicts. They definitely afraid of real war. These security laws can control their desire to expand their territory.
To have power doesn't mean goes into a war. If a nation alone has enough power to protect itself from evils, there wouldn't need military alliance. No need to rescue others instead of to be protected by other nations. But the reality doesn't let us so.
Looking around Japan, evil totalitarian countries have a long history of cruel behavior. They can't stop doing so unless the governments have replaced democratic one.
