A TOEIC Day

My Twitter time line is filled with TOEIC because tomorrow is the day of the test. I don't take the test this time. I even didn't take that test since last May. I'm scared of taking TOEIC now. The test is so harsh for me. The test makes me confused. Lack of my knowledge is the problem.

Anyway I hope everyone can perform well tomorrow.

Good Luck!

Many English learners will take renewal TOEIC. I don't know much about the detail, but it might be more difficult than previous test. 

I don't take TOEIC this time because I haven't gotten over the after effect of TOEIC two years ago. I got a heavy damage. 

I hope everyone will perform well enough for the new TOEIC tomorrow.

ETS Announces New TOEIC

ETS has released the new form of TOEIC. It will be changed in May 2016. 

In the listing section, they will reduce part 1 and 2 problems and add part 3 problems. Some conversations will be talked by three speakers. You have to answer some questions related to charts.

In the reading section, part 5 will be reduced and part 6 will be increased, and more changes will be there. 

You may feel uneasy about the new format of TOEIC, but don't worry about that. ETS has said that the quality and the difficulty of the test will be the same. That means if your English ability is the same, your score will be the same, maybe, perhaps, hopefully.

New TOEIC

According to some SNS sources, the form of TOEIC will be changed in May, 2016. I'm not quite sure the details, but if my skills would be the same, my score would be the same as well. Am I wrong?

ETS, the examiner, may not reveal the specific details before the change. I think it's unfair for TOEIC examinees. Some people depend upon the test for their success or proportion. ETS should release new version of TOEIC as soon as possible. Anyway, I would like to take the test in January and May next year.

Today's TOEIC

I was knocked out by TOEIC today. The listening part was not so bad. I think I could get 90% or more of them. But the reading part was terrible. I had left a half of Part 7 problems. 

The reason why I didn't perform well in part 7 was partly I spent too much time on part 5 and 6. I just think so. 

I haven't practiced a lot for TOEIC, but I think I should study for the test if I want to get a good score. 

I'll concentrate on Part 5 and 6, so I'll buy some text books for the section. Otherwise, I can't get over 400 for TOEIC reading part.

TOEIC Day

The 200th TOEIC is held tomorrow. The place where I take the test is really close to my house. I live in the neighbor of the place, Shimane University. 

I don't really like talking TOEIC. First, I'm overwhelmed by the huge amount of problems. 200 is too much for me. I need a week to solve these questions, honestly. Second, I can't get a good score as I expected. Probably ETS might hate me. 

Anyway, I'll just try to do my best. Get enough sleep, clean my ear holes and drink a Mega-shaki before the test.

The 200th TOEIC

TOEIC takes place in my city three times in a year. Usually, it comes here in January, May and September. I have been taking it every time in recent two years. Don't ask my scores. 

I don't need good score of the test. I just want my English ability to be measured, so I need to take the test in the same conditions every time. I listen to the radio, read books, magazines and articles, write blog or something all in English. And of course, I'm trying to expand my vocabulary and learning more English grammar. That's the way I'm doing in my daily life. 

I'm thinking that if I could get over 900, I would use TOEIC text books, because many learners say that they had a hard time to getting best scores after that. 

Anyway, I'll try to do my best.

TOEIC in May

I've applied to TOEIC in May. In a big city, you can take the test ten times in a year, but I can take it only three times in a year here in Matsue. 

In the previous time, I didn't prepare for it with TOEIC work books and my score decreased a little. I'll use my two TOEIC work books this time in order to get a better result. And I'm planning to finish two English reference books. That sounds perfect for me, doesn't it?  

Of course I'll try to read and solve the two work books many times. More over, I'm trying to read two novels in a month. Well, I'll be busy coming two months.

Eiken Grade 1 and TOEIC 990

Some experts said Eiken Grade 1 and TOEIC 990 are mere entrances of professional translators or interpreters, but for average English learners, these would be one of the goals. 

I don't know if I could get Eiken Grade 1 or TOEIC 990. I'm just trying to get them for now, but first, I think I should try to Eiken. That is simply because I like reading news articles and novels. Of course I would take TOEIC every time held in my town. 

Should English teachers in school have Eiken Grade 1 or TOEIC 990? I don't think they need these certifications, but I want them to have the same ability to English. But TOEIC score 950 over would be enough. That's just my impression, though. 

I want English teachers would say,"Eiken Grade 1? TOEIC 950? Anytime I can get them. No sweat!" What do you think about that?

TOEIC Today

I took TOEIC test at Shimane University today.

The listing section was not so bad. I lost one of Part 1, two or three of Part 2 and more on others as usual. 

I did well on Part 5 and 6, but I spent too much time on them. As a result, I had to be hurry to solve problems in Part 7. 

I really exhausted taking today's TOEIC, but I look forward to get the result. How was your TOEIC today?

TOEIC Day

I'm talking a TOEIC test tomorrow, which is the sixth one for me. 

To take the test, I need to put my ID photo on the examinee card. I might have three or four of my pictures left, but I can't find them. It happens every time. I've wasted lots of money. I have to take new photos before I take the test.

990

TOEIC lovers who took Novembe's TOEIC test can check their scores of the test via the home page today. Many of them have got 990, the highest score. Only 0.3% or less of examinees can get the highest point, but apparently I can see too many of them on my Twitter timeline. How come? 

I'm going to take TOEIC this Sunday. I want to get over 900, but that's not easy. Everyone, wish me luck!

Score Card

My TOEIC score card has arrived. It says I've improved grammatical knowledge a little and my level of grammer became obove the average for the first time. I've been studying English sentence structures and it works well. 

I got 840 this time, and I'll try to get over 900 next time. I need more practice indeed.

I've got a 840 point from TOEIC test in September. I'm really glad to get over 800 score this time. I want to get 900 within a year. 

TOEIC

I took TOEIC test today. I listened to radio in English and read English reading comprehension text book for preparing the test. 

For reading section, it worked well for me. I think I could get the best score for me this time. On the other hand, I don't think I could not get my own highest point for listening part. I was confused to choice suitable answers many times. I should listen wide range of listening materials more. 

Reference Books

It's been cool early in the morning. The temperature is below 20 degrees these days. In the day time, even the weather is good, but I feel cool wind. The summer is finally over here. 

I'm going to take TOEIC in this month and Eiken in next month. I don't study English with TOEIC materials, but I use English reference books for high school students. I can read and listen English just like in Japanese, I can easily solve TOEIC questions. That's I'm thinking now.  

TOEIC

I'll take TOEIC next month. I don't prepare for the test using TOEIC text books, but I'm studying English grammar recently. I'm looking forward to take the test because I'll be able to know how I improve TOEIC reading section. I hope I could get over 400 point at reading section. 

TOEIC Score Sheet

I've got my TOEIC official score sheet today. It said grammar is my weak point. What should I do for improve my ability of English grammar? I don't like studying grammar text books but I have to do that. 

TOEIC

I took a TOEIC test in May. I checked the result today. I got a 790, out of 990. I'm not good at reading section but I could get 335 this time. The last time, I got only 285, so I did well in May. I want to get 400 at reading section next time. I need to read English articles more.
