The Summit

Everyone knows Everest is the highest mountain in the world. Since the first man climbed the top of the mountain in 1953, more than 3,000 climbers have reached to the summit and the numbers have been increasing year by year. 

But the last year, for the first time since 1974,  not a single climber reached the summit of Everest. That was becaus an avalanche killed 16 Nepalese in 2014 and a series of earthquakes killed at least 18 people at South Base Camp. Many expeditions cancelled for the reasons.
